After losing my father to stomach cancer in 2005, my perspective on life and eternity began to change. But God continued shaping my heart through another incredible blessing—meeting my wife, building a family, and raising three beautiful children together. In this devotion, I reflect on how both grief and blessing taught me to stop living only for temporary things and start living with eternity in mind.
